The acting Government has not undergone a control session in Congress

Ciudadanos has requested the appearance of the acting ministers in the different parliamentary committees of Congress. He does so because he believes that Batet is preventing the Government from undergoing a control session. A Ciudadanos deputy considers that "a very important democratic anomaly" is occurring. Ciudadanos has requested that all acting ministers of the Executive appear in the next parliamentary committees. She does so, she explains, because the president of the Chamber, Meritxell Batet, "has denied Ciudadanos' request to hold a Government control session." Article 61 of the regulations of the Lower House stipulates that Congress has two ordinary periods of sessions: "From September to December and from February to June."
